Is our home away from home come summer! We have a seasonal campsite at this lovely, wooded, small private campground.
I was raised camping and once Jim and I were married, camping became part of our weekend excursions and summer vacations. The beauty of being teachers is that we have the entire summer “off” if we so desire. For years we would meander from campground to campground with our favorite being Fish Creek in the Adirondack Mountains. We stumbled upon Daggett Lake due to my passion for waterskiing as the owner is a waterski enthusiast and runs a ski school on the private lake.
We fell in love with Daggett, the opportunities it provides for outdoor activities, the people at the campground, and the owner has become one of our very best friends! So, every June we pack up the family (including the cat and dog) and head to Daggett for the months of July and August!
At camp, I co-teach waterskiing with Tom, the owner, and help out in the campground store taking reservations and helping customers. Jim helps out by splitting and delivering wood and Maddie has her own pet sitting business, Pampered Pets!
Come join us for a weekend or week! Daggett has some camper cabins and cottages available if you don’t have your own camping equipment. We also have a few tent sites and sites that can accommodate a small camper. All the “big” sites have become seasonal. Call the campground office at 518-623-2198 and tell them Jenni from Mom With a Teen sent you!
